The Argumentation Paper

February 27, 2010 Leave a comment

Due to the inclement weather and cancellation of classes on Friday, I was not able to submit the argumentation paper handout to be printed. I am putting it up on our website for you to check out a few days early. I will not have copies with me in class on Monday, but I will go over it with you then. I will pick up print copies during my office hours and have them then if you’d like to pick one up. I will also bring print copies on Wednesday to class.

On Monday and Wednesday we will discuss argumentation.

As you’ve no doubt heard, today’s class is cancelled. Here’s the plan: keep working on your papers and still submit them to me tonight. I will try to do “EOffice” hours for most of today. I look forward to reading your chapter three papers. I will give out the annotated bibliography project handout on Monday.

Here’s the Plan

To make up for the lost day, here is what we will do next week:

  • Finish lecture on citation and quotes
  • Group work (time permitting)
  • Handout guide to MLA 7 citation

  • Quiz on citation and quotes
  • Lecture on rough drafts
  • Group work on rough drafts

So we will have to cancel our trip to the library. I will work with the library to get that rescheduled. (maybe for Friday?)
